Description
This instrument is in Fair Condition showing wear and age which include; nicks, dings, scratches, marks and checking all over. Normal fret wear with the exception of damage to first fret under the low E (Does not cause fret buzz). There are multiple cracks on the body, however, all have been repaired. The bridge was re-attached at some point and the saddle is not original, the soundhole is slightly collapsed on the treble side.
Being a vintage Kalamazoo, it has no truss-rod, meaning that the level of relief on the neck is dependent on the climate. The action currently sits at 9/64″ (Low E) and 6/64″ (High e) at the 12th fret.
We believe this instrument to have been made somewhere in the late 1930’s, however, this cannot be confirmed as there is no serial number/labeling/or markings to more accurately date the guitar. Not much else is known about this instrument, if you have any further knowledge regarding this item and would like to share, please feel free to message us
