Description
This instrument is in Good Condition showing normal signs of wear and age which include nicks, dings, scratches, markings, and very slight checking throughout the entire instrument. The frets are in very good shape showing very little wear. It appears that the neck may have been repaired at some point a long time ago as the back of the headstock was painted and has much more checking than the original finish on the rest of the instrument.
Overall, this is a very playable guitar. The top still holds its shape, the neck is still at the correct angle and also has a working truss rod to maintain the proper relief. The action is currently set to 5/64″ (Low E) and 4/64″ (High e) with still plenty of room for adjusting in either direction. The tuners on this guitar are not the originals, they have been replaced with modern grover open gear tuners, this drastically helps the instruments tuning stability. A hard canvas case is also included and is in Good Condition.
We believe that this guitar may have been made sometime between the late 1940’s to late 1950’s. However, not much else is known about this instrument, if you have any further knowledge regarding this item and would like to share, please feel free to message us
