ON HOLD. Music students will learn how to interact musically with each other and as a band while working on songs chosen by the instructor. Group Sessions have a different music theme every month. The instructor will assign parts to each student according to the student’s skill level.

With over 25 years experience in teaching, Armando is also a well know and respected musician and teaches all levels and all ages. He is patient and truly loves to share his passion and knowledge with his students and takes special attention to everyone from learning the first notes to encourage the students to learn how to jam and play along with other people.
John is an accomplished multi instrumentalist and performs regularly with his band across South Florida. He has been teaching music for over 24 years and is knowledgeable, patient and loves sharing the gift of music with all his students. He teaches all ages and all levels from beginner to advanced, from Bluegrass to Irish to Folk Music. John only teaches virtual lessons (Zoom or Skype)
Joseph Capalbo acquired a Bachelor's of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. His career began as an instructor at the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester, where he received the Berklee Urban Service Award for his dedication and passion for teaching music. Joseph is proficient in and teaches acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, ukulele, piano, songwriting and music production. He is known for his patient and personalized style of teaching for all ages, styles and levels of experience. His classes incorporate technique, reading music, theory, composition, audition prep, staying inspired, creating structured practice routines and much more!
Larry is a well known performer in South Florida as well as a personality in traditional clawhammer style banjo pickin'. His experience in teaching and knowledge of traditional and roots music has no equal in SoFla. If you want to learn the real traditional pickin style he's your man!
Toni is an extremely gifted and patient music teacher and she loves to teach young children how to play the ukulele. She will help your child learn, understand and enjoy playing the Uke and makes sure all lessons are fun, all in a nice, relaxed setting. With her, the students will learn they first notes and progressively move to different techniques that involve strumming, melody playing and rhythmic playing.
Vincent is from New York City but now calls South Florida his permanent home. He has been teaching students of all ages for the past 25 years. He shares his joy and enthusiasm for music with everyone he meets and promises to put the fun in the fundamentals. He recently retired from his job at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers so he can pursue his love of performing and teaching music full time.
Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter Shontal Prince has managed to pen several genres such as neosoul, christian contemporary, hip hop, country, r&b, pop and more. After obtaining her B.A. in Jazz Commercial Music from Five Towns College, and her M.B.A. in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, she now enjoys providing music lessons for children and adults in South Florida. Mrs. Prince specializes in vocal techniques for Jazz, Classical, and Popular Music. Classes include vocal warm ups, vocal health tips, ear training, performance techniques, & building repertoire for upcoming shows, recitals, auditions, and personal growth as a musician.
Yasa Poletaeva is a sought-after violinist hailing from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Described by “Manhattan International Artists” as a violinist who's "performances reflect a great musicality, depth of interpretation, and technical expertise needed to distinguish oneself in the world of professional performance." A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory (Russia) and Lynn University Conservatory (USA), she has concertized in the United States, Russia, Europe, and Asia as a soloist and a member of the Contrast Duo. Ms. Poletaeva is a winner of the Franz Liszt International Music Competition, John Oliveira Inaugural String Competition, finalist of Carnegie Hall fellowship, and a scholarship recipient of National Society of Arts and Letters and Boca West Country Club. She has been a member of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra in Fort Pierce since 2013 as well as the Miami City Ballet Orchestra since 2015. In addition to all of this, Ms. Poletaeva is also a published author.
Aliya is a South Florida native with over a decade of teaching and performing trumpet. With experience in playing gospel, classical, and blues, she will help you with the fundamentals and advanced techniques for your desired genre. Her musical teaching style includes ear-training, breathing techniques, sight reading, articulation exercises, practicing techniques, and finding the best tonal sound for each player. Her one-on-one training helps each student find their tone and voice through their instrument.
