Description
This instrument is in Fair Condition showing wear and age which include; nicks, dings, scratches, marks, checking all over and normal fret wear. There are multiple cracks on the body, however, all have been repaired and are structurally stable. The saddle is not original and the soundhole is very slightly collapsed on the treble side. Being a vintage Kalamazoo, it has no truss-rod, meaning that the level of relief on the neck is dependent on the climate. The action currently sits at 1/8″ (Low E) and 3/32″ (High e) at the 12th fret, and 1/32″ at the first fret.
We believe this instrument to have been produced in 1937, however, this cannot be confirmed as there is no serial number/labeling/or markings to better pinpoint the exact date of the guitar.
We inspect each and every instrument we ship out for maximum playability. We adjust the action and adjust intonation when needed. If you would like a specific adjustment, just add it to your order notes and we would be happy to adjust to your liking.
