With a name suggested by Ricky Skaggs in the late 90’s, the Country Boy features a AAAA grade Sitka Spruce top paired with premium Mahogany back and sides to create a versatile platform agreeable with any playing style. The PS-S version features Bourgeois newest satin finish lacquer, offering vintage tone with a refined, traditional finish.
Handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine, the Professional Series is designed for working musicians who demand more. Whether you’re chasing warmth, clarity, or balance, every guitar in the series is built with select tonewoods, precision-voiced bracing, and a proprietary bolt-on neck for tonal consistency and long-term serviceability.
