Description
The instrument is in Excellent-Condition showing only some very minor belt markings/hairline scratches, and a couple very minor dings/scuffs throughout. Frets are in excellent shape and showing virtually zero wear.
This banjo arrived at our shop disassembled and was rebuilt & setup by a professional luthier. Some original parts were missing when we first received it and new parts had to be installed. However, all the parts needed (with the exception of the bridge & head) were ordered directly from Ome and are the following: Coordinator Rods, Resonator Thumb Screws and Sweetone Tail-Piece. A Renaissance head was installed (recommended by Ome) and a standard ebony capped maple bridge was fitted.
We believe this instrument to have been produced sometime in the late 1970’s to 1980’s. We are unable to get a more accurate date as this banjo does not have a serial number. Not much else is known about this instrument, if you have any further knowledge regarding this item and would like to share, please feel free to message us
We inspect each and every instrument we ship out for maximum playability. We adjust the action and adjust intonation when needed. If you would like a specific adjustment, just add it to your order notes and we would be happy to adjust to your liking.
