Description
Created by Jake’s esteemed luthier Casey Kamaka, The Jake Blue Edition complements Jake’s unique preferences in ukulele tone, playability and appearance. This ukulele is crafted with a premium curly Koa body, outlined in ebony, and accented in stunning blue on all edges. The flat top headplate is specifically designed with geometrically shaped slots. The bound ebony fingerboard features Jake’s signature inlayed with mother of pearl. This edition also features a distinctive soundboard with ebony binding that is highlighted with green abalone heart purfling accented with blue trim to create a mesmerizing sea blue that symbolizes the ocean that surrounds the Hawaiian islands. The Jake Blue is Kamaka’s highest end production instrument to date and only the second time in the company’s 102-year history that it has collaborated with an artist to design an instrument for Kamaka’s regular production line.
We inspect each an every instrument we ship out for maximum playability. We adjust the action and adjust intonation when needed. If you would like a specific adjustment, just add it to your order notes and we would be happy to adjust to your liking.
