Description
This instrument is in Good-Condition and shows some signs of wear and age which include minor hairline scratches/nicks/dings/checking as well as one or two scuffs throughout. The frets are the very low jumbos that Gibson used in the 70s’ and are in very good condition showing little to no real wear. The tuners appeared to have been replaced multiple times and are not original.
Most notably, the neck was broken at the headstock at one point and has since been repaired. This repair looks to have been professionally done some years ago as the lacquer used for it has checking and a defined witness line along the original break from shrinkage. The repair itself is entirely stable.Â
We inspect each and every instrument we ship out for maximum playability. We adjust the action and adjust intonation when needed. If you would like a specific adjustment, just add it to your order notes and we would be happy to adjust to your liking.Â
