They specialize in acoustic jams\, continuously mixing the old with the new and adding twists of their own along the way. They are described as being a fresh sound that keeps the traditionalists happy\, while also catering to those whose seek to push  past the boundaries of the norm. Low Ground is heavily influenced by Americana\, Bluegrass\, Folk\, Rock\, Blues\,Jazz\, and Jam styles of music. As a band they strive to honor the history and traditions set forth by these styles of music; even while adding in their own artistic expression.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Acoustic Live Music Session\nEvery Saturday from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.\nWe will feature some of South Florida best Acoustic Acts\nin our intimate stage setting inside our music store. \nMark your calendars\, come by every Saturday and enjoy some of the\nmost talented musicians in SoFlo play while you shop or while\nyou have your guitar restrung. \nToday’s Guest: Leah Simmons \nFrom Leah’s Website: \nLeah Simmons is an independent singer-songwriter and guitarist currently based out of South Florida. Leah\, originally hailing from outside of Annapolis\, MD\, has been singing and playing guitar since she was 15 years old. The musician began writing original music after graduating college in 2015. After performing at various open mic nights\, coffee shops\, restaurants\, and charity events- Leah decided to take her music to the studio. \nShe released her self-titled debut album in the fall of 2020 and it is available to stream\, download and purchase on all major music platforms. The album was recorded at Wright Way Studios in Baltimore\, MD and was mixed/mastered by Leah’s long time friend\, Nate Lanzino. \nLeah Simmons performs around South Florida as a solo acoustic act. In addition to performing live\, Leah is currently writing\, producing and recording new music to be released in 2022.
